Today was supposed to be my first day of "doubles"... I did my workout this morning, and killed it! I worked really hard and definitely felt it. Tonight I just couldn't bring myself to do another workout. I took a bath instead and really let myself relax a bit. It was a personal choice that I think was the right one ;).

Meal 1: Turkey bacon (red), eggs (red), waffle (yellow)

Meal 2: Strawberry Shakeology (red), mangoes (purple), water, ice. Bell peppers (green), cucumber (green)

Meal 3: Tilapia (red), black beans (yellow), steamed broccoli (green), cheese (blue)

Workout: Total Body Cardio Fix

I also had a few bites of my kids' cookies and cream ice cream and about 3 cups of coffee today, not pictured. I am missing a fruit that I had planned on eating tonight but now I'm just tired and ready for bed. May chow it down so my stomach doesn't growl in the middle of the night.

Tomorrow is my meal planning day! I am still working out what the great combinations are with so few options. Tonight's meal was excellent. I could have eaten another plate just as large though, so apparently my portion control is still lacking ;). I'm learning what portions SHOULD look like when I'm trying to lose weight. Once I get to maintaining phase, I'll figure out what THAT looks like. Either way, it's less food than I "want" and more often than I want it ;).

I had a great "confidence" day today, until tonight, whenafter dinner I had a bit of bloating and started looking at how far I have left to go, not how far I've come. Don't do this, friends! Never look at yourself and say, "ugh, but I still have to lose this back fat and look at that cellulite, and that skin is NEVER going to tighten after childbirth..." NO! Look at yourself and say, "I am stronger than I was yesterday, and tomorrow I will be stronger than I am today," and MEAN IT!

But if you have a day like I had tonight, where you just can't see past it, then just stop looking in the mirror ;). Walk away. Tell yourself you're just having a moment, and get over yourself. You'll see yourself differently in the morning.
