21 Day Fix Day 5

Hello Day 5! This is one of those days where I look at my photos and think it's a ton of food, but somehow eating it just left me wanting more. Man, my portions must have been way out of whack for trying to lose weight. No wonder I was having to work out so hard!

Meal 1: Strawberry Shakeology (red), mango (purple), water, ice.
Meal 2: Whole wheat waffle (yellow), natural peanut butter (2 tsp)
Meal 3: Leftover chili (red, yellow, purple), cottage cheese (red)
Meal 4: Cucumbers (green) and carrots (green)
Meal 5: Leftover shredded bbq chicken (bbq sauce not 21Day approved) (red), steamed broccoli (green), sea salt, shredded Mont Jack cheese (blue)
Meal 6: Olives (orange)
I was cleaning out my fridge today. The chicken was made the day before I started the Fix, and it was either use it or throw it so I went for it. It has a bit of BBQ sauce on it, but that was my only cheat of the day so I'm not worried ;). I thought it looked like a really weird combination, with the bbq chicken, broccoli and cheese, but it was seriously delish. If you have a hard time with broccoli, this is an excellent way to eat it and have it sort of blend in with the other overpowering flavors.
Hello! Look at that bicep! Friends, I will eventually post a before and after pic of my arms... that bicep was NOT defined like that 2 months ago. I am loving that I'm seeing the flab turn to muscle!
And I have to tell you, I'm not a huge fan of the strawberry Shakeology, but mixed with mango it was amazing. Loved it! I think if I could put a bit of almond milk in it would be even better.
I also went to Starbucks again today, but stuck with my black coffee. I'm so fancy.
