Today was my last day of the 21 Day Fix and tomorrow I'm moving onto the 21 Day Fix Extreme.

WHY would I start another program right before Thanksgiving? Why not? Thanksgiving is only one day... there are 20 other days in this round for me to be amazing and do something I'm proud of. .. and I'll share like I always do because I feel that yall deserve a coach who goes all in on goals and doesn't lose sight of them. I don't just ask you to be healthy... I ask you to JOIN me!
So here's my step 1 leading up to my Day 1 tomorrow. Meal Planning! I used my approved foods list, my guidebook that came with my program and the Fixate cookbook to make planning a bit easier, and printed out smaller daily sheets to hang on the fridge in my Fix Command Center ;).

Step 2 in starting a new program: Shopping. Once you've created your meal plan and checked your cupboards for things you already have, take your list and go shop!
You'll see in my picture I still buy a few things for my kids and hubby, but otherwise I try to stick with fresh produce, quality meats and only what's on my list. It can be expensive to eat healthy but I consider it an investment in myself and my family. I want us to be around and healthy for as long as humanly possible.

Step 3 in starting a new program is Meal Prep. Once you get home from the store, the more you can prep right away the better. That means veggie chopping, snack sorting, cleaning out the outdated food and putting everything in its place so you'll be able to grab it quickly and easily when it's time.
I made oatmeal this morning and made enough for 3 more days so tomorrow I'll save time by reheating a pre-portioned container. I also made "sauce" to use in multiple recipes this week. Not everyone has time to spend during the day but you may be able to find a few minutes each night to prep for the next days meals!

Step 4 of starting a new program: Taking your before pics and measurements. This is a scary but crucial step, because you won't able to see your results, how far you've truly come, if you don't TRACK IT!
And that's it, I'm ready to go! Even if you aren't using a Beachbody program, or working in one of my accountability groups, you can still use these steps whenever you're starting a new regimen.
Step 5 is to ROCK YOUR FITNESS!
