Rice is a great source of energy. It's said to have a high impact on Alzheimer's prevention and is often used for blood pressure management. Rice protects against the development of cancer cells and can prevent chronic constipation. It is rich in vitamins and minerals, including manganese, which helps produce energy from carbs and protein. Brown rice is lower on the glycemic index than white rice, making it a better choice for diabetic patients.
