Quinoa is naturally gluten free and very easy to incorporate into your diet. It is a nutritional powerhouse, containing iron, B-vitamins, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, vitamin E, and fiber. It's one of the few plant foods that is considered a complete protein, and contains nine essential amino acids. A low glycemic index food, it's very high in antioxidants.
