Tulsi (holy basil) has been worshiped in India for thousands of years because of its abundance of healing properties. It's often used as a disinfectant agent and antibiotic, and helps with respiratory issues and asthma. It is said to control headache pain, as well as cough and cold, and can protect against heart disease. Tulsi prevents premature aging and helps reduce stress. Plants grown indoors are said to help protect against respiratory issues and give healing just by being nearby.
