Day 1.

I love first days of my workout programs. I'm always so motivated and pumped up for my workouts and ready to rock my meal plan.

Today was a bit different. The first time I did this program I had to quit... my knees and back hurt and I just didn't have a good mental attitude about it. The second time I made it all the way through but cheated a lot on my diet and modified the modifications during the workouts, scared I'd hurt myself again. Plyo is so hard on me that half the time I do it I end up vomiting.

So today I was a bit scared... I took things slower, modified, but pushed myself to finish the workout (Plyo Fix Extreme), keeping my mental attitude in check. I watched my portions, followed my plan and did pretty well.

Plyo Extreme isn't for the weak. It's hard even for the strong. You're up and down and moving for 30 minutes, working cardio and legs. It'll make you lose your breath, wonder if your heart rate is too quick, dizzy and shaky if you aren't careful. The trick is to go slow, drink water, keep your mind focused on the one exercise you're doing and breathe. I made it through and gave myself an amazing workout, and then refueled with my shake.

I used the tomato sauce I prepped this weekend to make the tomato soup for lunch. It was really good, and actually really quick to make since the tomato sauce was pre-made.
